Portraits of Happiness is a book about interviews to different visual artists about their perceptions of happiness. Interviewees are required to describe happiness in an abstract form, then write an experience that makes them happy. I designed nine sketches based on their descriptions per person. Interviewees needed to choose one out of nine that they thought matched their description the most, which I later developed into a final version of the specific interviewee's happiness.
