This set of calendar cards of the year 2022 is about my memories of the city where I was born and grew up — Shenzhen. I did not use any references to make the illustrations, which means they’re all drawn from my memory. For each month I chose to represent different places in Shenzhen and I indicated their names in Chinese inside each illustration. Also written in the top-left corner of each month is my three-word-impression for each place. Please turn to the subsequent pages to go along on this journey of mine via the little puppet.
